Information on Service 'Timeseries originating from small telescopes in Kolonica Observatory, Slovakia'

Time series in this collection were derived from CCD images obtained at the Kolonica Observatory, Slovakia.

The observations were carried out to monitor selected fields centred on eclipsing binary stars with two small telescopes.

The first instrument, ZIGA (PlaneWave CDK20, Corrected Dall–Kirkham), has a 508 mm aperture and is equipped with a Moravian Instruments G4-16000 CCD camera with UBVRI Bessell photometric filters. The second instrument, Alica (Explore Scientific MN-152, Maksutov–Newton), has a 152 mm aperture and is equipped with a Moravian Instruments G2-8300 CCD camera with Sloan g′ r′ i′ photometric filters. Both telescopes are currently in operation at the observatory.

The time series were produced with a custom photometric pipeline (Parimicha, Š., in preparation). Differential photometry is performed using comparison star magnitudes from APASS DR9.

Beyond the primary target (typically an eclipsing binary), the pipeline derives calibrated magnitudes for all stars in the field with sufficient signal-to-noise ratio. This approach, we believe, may help researchers follow the behaviour of other interesting objects over time.

For each photometric point, we provide the list of comparison stars used in its calculation (which may vary for each star and each image).

The corresponding calibrated images are published separately in the upjs_img image collection.

Overview

You can access this service using:

Coverage

Intervals of messenger energies reflected in this resource: 1.12713 3.44401 eV

Time covered by this resource's data: 2019.66 2021.83

This resource is not (directly) published. This can mean that it was deemed too unimportant, for internal use only, or is just a helper for a published service. Equally likely, however, it is under development, abandoned in development or otherwise unfinished. Exercise some caution.

Other services provided on the underlying data include:

Input Fields

The following fields are available to provide input to the service (with some renderers, some of these fields may be unavailable):

NameTable Head DescriptionUnitUCD
pp_id Pp_id Identifier of a photometry point N/A N/A

Default Output Fields

The following fields are contained in the output by default. More fields may be available for selection; these would be given below in the VOTable output fields.

NameTable Head DescriptionUnitUCD
dec Dec Declination deg pos.eq.dec;meta.main
gaia_name Gaia DR3 ID Gaia DR3 identifier N/A meta.id
ra RA Right ascension from deg pos.eq.ra;meta.main

VOTable Output Fields

The following fields are available in VOTable output. The verbosity level is a number intended to represent the relative importance of the field on a scale of 1 to 30. The services take a VERB argument. A field is included in the output if their verbosity level is less or equal VERB*10.

NameTable Head DescriptionUnitUCD Verb. Level
ra RA Right ascension from deg pos.eq.ra;meta.main 1
dec Dec Declination deg pos.eq.dec;meta.main 1
gaia_name Gaia DR3 ID Gaia DR3 identifier N/A meta.id 20
