Information on Service 'Browser interface for searching Kolonica fits images'

Further access options are discussed below

The images in this collection were acquired to monitor selected sky fields around eclipsing binary stars at the Kolonica Observatory, Slovakia.

The Kolonica Observatory is located on the Kolonica Saddle and is operated by the Vihorlat Observatory in Humenné. It lies in the northeastern part of Slovakia, within the Poloniny Dark-Sky Park, a location with the darkest night skies in Slovakia and among the darkest in Europe.

Two small telescopes were used to obtain the images in this collection. The first telescope, named ZIGA (PlaneWave CDK20 — Corrected Dall–Kirkham), has a 508 mm aperture and is equipped with a Moravian Instruments G4-16000 CCD camera and UBVRI Bessell photometric filters. The second telescope, named Alica (Explore Scientific MN-152 — Maksutov–Newton), has a 152 mm aperture and is equipped with a Moravian Instruments G2-8300 CCD camera and g′ r′ i′ Sloan photometric filters. Both telescopes are currently in operation, and the archive is expected to be updated with new data.

We publish the photometric time series derived from these images in the upjs_ts collection.

Overview

You can access this service using:

Coverage

Intervals of messenger energies reflected in this resource: 1.12508 3.44401 eV

Time covered by this resource's data: 2019.66 2021.83

This resource is not (directly) published. This can mean that it was deemed too unimportant, for internal use only, or is just a helper for a published service. Equally likely, however, it is under development, abandoned in development or otherwise unfinished. Exercise some caution.

Other services provided on the underlying data include:

Input Fields

The following fields are available to provide input to the service (with some renderers, some of these fields may be unavailable):

NameTable Head DescriptionUnitUCD
hPOS Position ICRS Position, RA,DEC, or Simbad object (e.g., 234.234,-32.45). N/A pos.eq
hSIZE Field size Size in decimal degrees deg N/A
target_name Target Name Object a targeted observation targeted N/A meta.id;src

Default Output Fields

The following fields are contained in the output by default. More fields may be available for selection; these would be given below in the VOTable output fields.

NameTable Head DescriptionUnitUCD
access_estsize Size Estimated size of data product kbyte phys.size;meta.file
access_url Access URL The URL at which to obtain the data set. N/A meta.ref.url
s_dec Dec Dec of (center of) observation, ICRS deg pos.eq.dec
s_ra RA RA of (center of) observation, ICRS deg pos.eq.ra
target_name Target Name Object a targeted observation targeted N/A meta.id;src

VOTable Output Fields

The following fields are available in VOTable output. The verbosity level is a number intended to represent the relative importance of the field on a scale of 1 to 30. The services take a VERB argument. A field is included in the output if their verbosity level is less or equal VERB*10.

NameTable Head DescriptionUnitUCD Verb. Level
access_url Access URL The URL at which to obtain the data set. N/A meta.ref.url 1
s_ra RA RA of (center of) observation, ICRS deg pos.eq.ra 1
s_dec Dec Dec of (center of) observation, ICRS deg pos.eq.dec 1
access_estsize Size Estimated size of data product kbyte phys.size;meta.file 5
target_name Target Name Object a targeted observation targeted N/A meta.id;src 15
